Nut, maca and chocolate energy balls

These balls will give you the energy you need for your day to day. They are suitable for vegans and people with special dietary needs, as they have no sugar, gluten, lactose or egg.

Maca, nuts and chocolate are foods with various nutritional properties and provide us with essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.


3/4 cup ground walnuts
1/4 cup unsweetened chocolate powder
3 tablespoons ground maca
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
Stevia to taste (optional)


Mix the maca with the ground nuts, chocolate powder, salt and stevia (optional). Add the oil and mix very well. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes to incorporate the flavors. Remove small portions of the dough with a teaspoon or teaspoon measuring spoon and form small balls.

Approximately 18 balls are obtained.

Ideal to recover after exercise, to include in the children’s lunch box or simply as a healthy snack.
