The sugar in your cookie

When you are going to try a new cookie recipe, observe very well the amount of sugar stated in the recipe. Almost always that amount can be reduced so that your cookies are not so sweet, but you must be careful to try it out so that you get the sweetness to your liking, but without losing the essence of the recipe.

If the recipe says, for example, to add 1 cup of sugar, try adding ¾ cup the first time you make it. If it is still too sweet, you can reduce it to ½ cup and keep tasting the amount until it is to your liking.

También puedes sustituir el azúcar por estevia u otro edulcorante no calórico, sin embargo, debes considerar que la textura de la galleta va a cambiar, ya que el azúcar aporta características importantes al resultado final de la receta. Si esto no es problema para tí, sustituir el azúcar por un dulce que no te aporte calorías te va a permitir darte ese gusto sin incrementar las calorías diarias que consumes.
